Overview
TextLife is an SMS-based personal assistant. We collect and use information only to provide the assistant service, operate accounts, connect approved integrations, and improve reliability.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use Google user data for advertising.
Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Account details, such as phone number, email address, account status, and billing status.
- Messages you send to TextLife and assistant responses.
- Connected account data you authorize, such as Google Calendar information.
- Usage, diagnostic, and security logs needed to operate the service.
- Payment status and customer identifiers from our payment processor.
Google Calendar Data
If you connect Google Calendar, TextLife requests permission to read calendar events so it can answer scheduling questions, surface upcoming commitments, and send useful reminders by SMS.
TextLife stores OAuth tokens in encrypted form. We store only the calendar data and metadata needed to provide the assistant service, troubleshoot issues, and maintain account history.
TextLife's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We use Google data only to provide and improve user-facing features of the assistant. We do not sell it, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train generalized AI or machine-learning models.
You can revoke TextLife's Google access from your Google Account permissions page at any time. You can also contact us to delete your TextLife account data.
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- Provide SMS assistant features, reminders, scheduling help, and account setup.
- Authenticate users and maintain connected integrations.
- Process payments and manage subscriptions.
- Protect the service from abuse, errors, and unauthorized access.
- Improve product quality and reliability.
Sharing
We share information only with service providers needed to operate TextLife, such as hosting, messaging, payment, analytics, security, and integration providers. These providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or as part of a business transfer.
Retention And Deletion
We keep information for as long as needed to provide TextLife, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. You may request deletion of your account data by contacting us.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted storage for integration tokens. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
